The reason for this is because the weight being used by your feet should move forward at a good pace in order to assist the weight being lifted from the floor and therefore allow the extension to be successful. If you try to execute these exercises using the same speed you would normally perform them, you may find that the weight is not being lifted as high as it should be. This is something you want to avoid. Always make sure that the weight being lifted is moving forwards, not backwards as this may cause you to break your arms when trying to lift the weight.

Learning how to do leg extensions is not as difficult as it may seem. The first thing you will need to do is get a pair of dumbbells, preferably a pair that you can hold for a longer period of time than the ones that you usually use. There are many different brands of dumbbells available on the market, so take your time and decide which one is going to best suit your needs. You also need to find a comfortable working surface such as a flat bench that you can use for the extensions.
